And before chapter seven starts on Monday, we get ourselves some beta notes on WaR.

Yeah, dunno how interested some folks will be in something like this, but personally do really derive interest of this sort of thing myself. All new art here, showing off various original designs for some characters. A lot of what could be said about some cast members is a good ways off, but we'll probably be doing more of these down the line. This is the only one for now, though.

Yeah, pretty much anything that really needs saying on this one is in the body of it. There were a few characters kicked around for this one - Randy, Rage, and the Robinsons offhand - that might pop up in the next batch of these if they come soon. Some characters, like Sarabeth and Laura plus at least one who hasn't appeared yet, come to mind as providing good material, but I'm holding off on those for now.

Not a whole lot to say on this, really. It was a pretty straightforward job, just drawing the characters as earlier concepts and copy/pasting in Martin's notes.

When I saw Starchild colored, I was kinda amazed at just how different her costume was. Not that I think the old look was bad (though definitely prefer her new one), just hard to think they're sorta the same character. She and Lillian were the hardest for me to draw, though in Lillian's case, it was because I was kinda tired by that point.

Candice was the easiest, by the way. My idea she be included here. I knew she'd be simple to draw, just being a 13-year-old, evil-looking version of her normal self. Speaking of, that thing on her shirt was Martin's idea. Guess it was to make her look more villainous.

I might consider doing one of these for Blues down the line, since certain characters have had pretty odd ideas attached and I like this thing a lot myself, but likely be a long ways off.

Yeah, the logo thing is something that initially was going to be a motif with Eighth Sin uniforms. You can still see a remnant of it in Carla's gear, the idea basically being there that Eighth Sin does have assigned regulation gear but most people don't bother with it. When initially designing people like the two of them and Ellen it made for a good, easy starter point when it came to outfits before branching off into other, more unique directions - Carla's kept it mostly since it fits her personality to do so, and she does wear it well.
