And now you know - Xandy is an alien bomb. If she ever finds the true Xandy's body, she'll explode and take the whole world with her.

Or she's blue-blooded. Whichever.

So yeah, a few folks managed to catch that early, and well done for them! All the same, hope they like this page, if only for the other revelation on display here that Becky is in fact Alex's daughter. Power teased him with that possibility back in their showdown, and the fact that he could have been did of course play a part in her initially adopting her, but here we have confirmation on that.

And to boot, we have the mom to deal with. Not looking happy, is she?

New chapter starts on Friday, then the schedule and format change take effect starting next week. Hope everyone sticks around and enjoys things moving forward!

This would be a really easy, direct way to link the two comics together; having the daughter of one protagonist living with the heroes of another, but no, Alex shot it down. Guess he just had to go and love his kid too much to see her live in another state.

Still, not exactly a small thing- having a Blue cast member in WaR. Gotta say, I was pretty tempted to have Xandy blush over the course of this sequence, but had to put that on hold since it'd blow the secret. ^^ Still, inside of blue-blood's mouths have a blueish tint to them, which I think was what clued in at least two of our readers to the secret beforehand.

Still, also worked in a few nods to the power. The flowers on the windowsill are blossoming as she walks past them and the flower she's twirling when lying on the bed becomes more open from one panel to the next. Have questions about that power myself. Is it just flowers or is it control over all plants?

Eh, not gonna be a super-hero so not terribly important to know right away, I suppose. ^^

Oh, right, that's a real punching bag Ivy is hitting there, just minus the "ayne," which she wrote on it herself. Martin was sure to have a link to a picture of it in the script.

Funny thing on that punching bag - I initially was just looking to see if they made purple ones for her to spraypaint the name Rayne onto. While doing that though I came across that one and it fit my needs all the more so I made sure to have Adam use it.

I never expected you to use Adam's idea on one of your characters Martin(which is why I was so shocked when I figured it out), and now I'm wondering just how widespread the blue gene is, and when are you going to explain why Ivy didn't tell Alex about Becky?

This'll come up more thoroughly later, but basically, at that point in time Ivy was specifically looking to get pregnant and slept around a lot, then when Becky was actually born she kind of chickened out and put her up for adoption. Alex was certainly aware of her but he was one of a good few potential dads for her, and might not have had the chance to intervene before Ivy went ahead with it.

Heh, but yeah, idea came to me awhile back and I decided to go ahead and run with it. Nice little way to bridge things and I do have some possible ideas in mind involving it down the line.
