Heheh... Well, this was a pretty easy page for us; head count is pretty minor. ^^ Actually, we haven't done a splash-page in a while, but think this might be as close as we get. Since we went onto a one-week schedule, would be harder to do that without looking like dicks....

Not a lot to say on this, though.... Am a bit disappointed with it I guess, mainly since the expressions of shock and awe could've come across better....

There was a bit of a communication error on this page; I intended it more to be a huge chunk of the stage rising up by way of just kind of bloating upward rather than a board shooting loose. It doesn't impact much either way though, just a difference in how it was visualized between us. Reminds me of kind of a funny averted bit of that on an upcoming BP page, we'll get into that when it comes up.

So yeah, not a whole lot to say on this one, other than that O'Hara is very serene in the face of death. As for the splash pages, yeah, I've decided to try and avoid those because of the new schedule; if one happens, there's going to be a reason for it. I generally tried to save them for high-impact moments anyway or ones to just kind of get more artsy, but now I want them to be particularly rare so long as we're doing this. There are still some lighter pages that are functionally kind of the same, like this and the one where Jason and Marina reached the temple thing in BP recently, but they at least have something more to them.

Also, we're experimenting with a new way to color the pages that should make them look pretty radically different but will also greatly trim down the production time on my end. If you want an early example of that we did it for this week's bonus on DeviantArt, and it'll also be on display with Blues starting Wednesday. It'll be a few weeks before we see it on WaR or BP.

Still kind of feeling around with it and adjusting to some of its quirks, but so far, it's saving me a lot of time.
