And that makes two fights in a row where Alex uses his mask to his advantage!

Yeah, in case anyone doesn't get what's going on, the idea here is that Alex prepared for something a little more streamlined after the mask throw he used to set up his powder in fighting Weapon. I'd guess he had a small capsule or balloon on the inside of the mask just in case he'd need it.

So, what else to say here then... Actually, one issue I kind of have with this fight in general is it's kind of structurally similar to the Weapon fight. Not beat for beat and it is much shorter, but still, few things in common. After this page it kind of goes in a different direction though, since the fight's not over just yet.

Heh... Didn't notice that so much myself. Though I think I like Bullet Time's design more than I do Living Weapon's. Kinda more distinct. Both have tattoos that are cumbersome to draw though, so eh.

Anyway, not sure what to say about this page..... Do like the super-speed effect in the fourth panel; can't recall if that was in the script or not but think it came out good. ^^ Also, gotta love how he took the mask off, since even Alex has lampshaded how it hides nothing.

First day of the new semester is today. Really moping about it, mostly because last semester saddled me with some crap courses/professors. This time around I've got Statistics 1, Genetics, Louisiana History, US Military History (it's an online class so I can imagine my professor on the other computer is Sergeant Hartman), and Experimental Psychology Part 2: The Interesting Stuff. Here's hoping it's better than last semester.

Nah, it wouldn't have been in the script; actually didn't really picture Bullet Time having the super-speed effect, I was thinking more just kind of faint partial visions of him. That'd probably take way more time though.

Oh yeah Alex is a combat pragmatist at it's finest. So when are we going to find out what Alex needed handcuffs for?

Heh. We'll be seeing part of that come Monday, though not the entire thought process there just yet.
