And things are patched up! Sort of. I'm sure by the next time we see Alex and John together they'll be getting onto a bit better of terms, though that might be a little while. Not a nine chapter wait like this one, mind you, probably just not until chapter twelve or thirteen. John could easily pop up in either of those.

Anyway, been eager to get to this chapter for a long while mostly just to address this issue that's really been kind of hanging over the comic from day one. Appropriate that that has happened as the third anniversary approaches, I suppose.

Speaking of... Yeah, the schedule change, combined with adding Skeletons in the Closet as a nearly last-minute thing, screwed with that year three preview quite a bit I'm afraid, and as you all likely gathered, that stuff with Rin and the guy in facepaint and whatever isn't going to be happening before October 10th. I'm sorry about that, but you'll be seeing follow-up on that stuff soon enough. Incidentally, if anyone's wondering when we'll next see Rin, first page of the next chapter. Or the cover of it if you're being literal when it comes to seeing him, since he's on that.

But first, we have two more pages left to go in this chapter. Funny, directly after the last appearance of Sareena and Misty in the current Black Princess chapter we get the last appearance of Alex and John in this one. Alex will be appearing a fair bit in the next chapters of both comics, though, even if neither is actually centered on him.

Anyway, back on topic... I kind of want to leave Adam some stuff to talk about so I don't want to ramble on about this page too much more, so I'll try to wrap it up. This was a very satisfying page to do likely because it marked the wrap-up for the last big issue hanging over Alex's head from the word go and we can now fully get into moving on with that part of the story. Appropriate timing, really, since the next chapter does show a fair bit of what living life as Dorothy is like for him; I guess this is very much a sort of transition page for the character. Maybe I should've padded the chapter out an extra five pages to make this one the 275th one, though that's not all that catchy of a milestone so eh.

Eheh.... If you look into the comments sections of the discussion Alex had with Sarabeth last chapter, I sorta pointed out this particular problem earlier myself, about how nobody has the right to determine if Alex "needs" to change his life and that it's more a flimsy excuse to rationalize what she's doing. When I asked Martin if that's why he had Alex bring it up here, I wanna say he said it warranted a response.

Ughhh... Man, the anniversary's already nearly here? I really feel bad doing the one-a-week schedule. Even now it feels like it's a temporary thing and we should be able to get back to two-a-week sometime in the future. Would really feel so much better about the comic if I could do it; just feels like it'd be a much better product for you guys.

But I can never go back to doing six-a-week, hell even five-a-week I don't think I could manage with school started up again...

Great, just made myself all tired and depressed. Whatever, I gotta do homework; usually picks me up.

Yeah, it was sort of a case where the issue you had with it was supposed to be taken with it, but I figured it bared bringing up directly as a result.

Taking into account what you guys said in the comments for the cover of this chapter, is Lara's dance school going to be in the last two pages?

Nope, but the subject of Ozias comes up in passing.
