Man, we're cutting it close on these pages... Just three left now. I've been so heckled with school lately. Seems every week I get hit with more and more stuff to either take home and work on or stay after class to do. Even as I'm typing these comments I'm working on something for Military History.

Not as bogged down by all this as you might think, though do wish the load would lighten sometime soon...

If you're wondering why I'm yakking about that, not a lot to say when there's all this dialog in the comic. Patricia's name gets mentioned in-story, finally, and we'll be seeing more of her very soon. ^^

The original line from McShay (first time we're seeing her speak here, in case you didn't notice) was a bit longer, so I asked Martin if I could shorten it. Y'know, add that extra blunt, badass quality to it. He said yes and pleased with the result. ^^

Oh, wait, I just realized I was off on my guess for sitting pages. Forgot the next comic's cover. That's four. That's alright then. ^^

We will have some more time to pull ahead at least, as we'll first be getting a short filler storyline written and drawn by Abe. We're looking at running that over the course of the next three weeks, then on the Friday of that last week we'll also get the cover for chapter ten, Quiet.

So then, McShay... Woman of few words, her. We will be hearing more of her talking from here on out, but not a lot, and probably none in the next chapter though she'll most likely show up in it. I actually sort of have some ideas for how McShay came to be in O'Hara's employee; nothing that huge or complicated but I'll spare going into it since it will likely come up in some way or other down the line.

We also have a couple of things touching on The Black Princess to boot. One of them is the fight between Sareena and Ozias, which the relevance of will come clear soon enough. The other is the name Monroe, which came up there recently. More explanation of the relevance of that name will be coming up from the word go of the next chapter, so I'd keep it and by extension Patricia in mind.

Incidentally, Adam, Patricia's name actually came up back in the first page of the chapter. Guess a weird little bookend there.

Also, bares mentioning, I swapped which fight was mentioned here close to when the page was drawn. Was originally going to be the later dance studio one, but I thought the warehouse fight would give me more to work with. We'll get back to that soon enough.

So it was one of Power's warehouses that Ozias burned to the ground, McShay is way more deadly then she appears, and considering what Day had to say about Dunning Monroe it's no wonder Power doesn't want to annoy Patricia's family, and it's been a really long time since Glory's last appearance.

Yeah, it has been a long while, and really she hasn't appeared very much so far. That likely won't be changing for awhile; most of what's planned for her is down the line. Still, we'll be seeing her periodically.

It would be nice to hear those things spoken -- have you ever thought about doing a type of film with images, and a voice over. like a voice over screenplay.

Thanks for the response. I know the last frame is a bit formless. I'm working on it.

Wish you luck there. Though yeah, something like that could be fun and we have toyed around with the idea before, but it might be a bit hard to organize anything in the immediate future. We'll see though.
