.... Huh. That's weird. This comic is of the two of them going to school, and the new college semester starts Tuesday. So I'm heading back to school on the week this is kicking off. Freaky.

Dorothy's head is really big in that second panel. I didn't even notice until I opened this page to submit it. Huh.

Anyway, meet Lillian. I actually had a lot of fun designing her, since I got to do a real back-and-forth thing with Martin on it. I'd draw one design and send it to him, he'd send back thoughts on it, and I'd churn out another one. I actually felt like we were working together on it, and it was really cool. I like how oblivious she looks.

Continuing my noticing of neat-looking extras, I like that little boy who doesn't wanna go to school. I'll have to show more of him whenever we're in the apartment complex.

One nice touch Adam came up with that isn't able to be seen just yet is that Lillian's horizontally-striped shirt is a counterpart to what is Sarabeth's signature one of vertical stripes. The colors are also inverted from grey and green.

Speaking of Lillian, one funny thing is in the original sketch she came out a dead-ringer for The Wotch's Anne Onymous. The two aren't entirely dissimilar honestly and the resemblance is still kind of there mostly due to the hair style, but I think Lillian's appearance is very nice and appropriate to her.
