Heheh... Yeah, going up against McShay, starting up this fight. The match is sort a challenge; trying to convey just how dangerous and painful McShay is just by watching her. Can kinda see right away the benefits of the re-designs. Makes McShay look so much more pissed off and dangerous having her fight looking like this. Before she just looked like a bored lady with some bulk, now she's an enraged, hulking brute.

Not a whole lot else to say, but this fight is one we've been looking forward to for a while in the comic, so hoping it won't disappoint you guys. Like I said, trying to step up the game for it.

In general a big thing with this fight as it goes on is trying to make McShay look like a genuine threat. Think it gets off to a decent start here but the next page I think does a better job of setting the scene. As a result not sure how much I'm actually going to have to say here.

Will say that contrary to how this page may seem there will be kind of the usual level of banter and discussion as the fight goes as you've probably come to expect by now, though not as heavily as we often get with it, just in a little different of a way. If it didn't show McShay's supposed to be kind of a woman of few words.

Related, as of this page, most of her dialogue to date consists of grunting! Yeah, idea with that's just that I thought it'd help give the fight a little more weight and make it feel more like an outright struggle's going on. Anyone have any thoughts on how that works out? Probably be a recurring thing if no one really has any objections to it, though do have to say it can be weird trying to decide what specific grunt to type into the script at a given point.

No weekend update this month, we're still kind of trying to get a bit more above the water on things. Production schedule's been a bit of a mess.

The fight only just started and it's already getting brutal, wonder what she's going to do next.
