Jesus, when was the last time we even saw Cathy? That bit when Alex got ambushed and that press conference happened. Been a while, hasn't it? That was before we were coloring with Manga Studio. I don't think I even realized she had green eyes until now.

I dunno why that one's so weird to me... I mean we never see any of the OTHER parents of our heroes.... Granted in the case of Blues they live in a boarding school, Sareena's are in Texas, and Misty's a grown-ass woman. Still, even in the case of Blues it seems weird we don't see them more often.

Christ, I can't wait until that cast comes off. Keep having to get corrected since I leave it out of panels. Keep forgetting Alex has it. At least the next chapter's adding one little touch that'll make it easier to remember.

Pretty straightforward page, this one. Sure it's not too surprising that that bit about Hazel and Mercy being recorded was a plot point; we'll touch on that again down the line.

Not too much to really say here, but am quite happy with this one. Is good getting to see Cathy again, though is just for this one page within this chapter, and this is also the last time in the chapter we see these three. We'll be touching on them again before too long though, as there'll be a brief filler arc between chapters focused on the evening at Dorothy's apartment.

Speaking of, there are only four pages left in the chapter, although we'll most likely have some Christmas filler on Friday. Chapter really wound up running longer than intended, but all the same, it is a damn good feeling to have a 40 page chapter and not having it run for almost an entire year first.

So that's the story Alex came up with to explain his injuries, looking forward to the next page and seeing what Christmas filler you guys came up with this year.

Hoping you'll enjoy it, is rather different from last year.
