I really was disappointed with the lineart in this one. One thing that's easy to fall into for scenes of just two characters talking to each other is for the panels to just be shot/reverse shot. First looking over Sareena's shoulder, then over White Noise, then back again. It's hard to break out of it and keep every shot interesting, but failed here. In the next page I made a specific point to avoid it, so turn up on Friday if you want an example of how to draw this better.

Seems dumb I'm focusing on that, but for pages mostly driven by dialog I usually don't have much to say. Especially since this is one of those pages where we're just setting up for the next page when all the cool stuff will happen/be said. Those are a bitch to comment on.

What do you guys think of the static-effect on White Noise's dialog. It's awkward to use and would want some feedback on it.

Yeah, just kind of talking here, little more fleshing out on some of Sareena's viewpoints on things and grilling on some of her recent actions.

Not sure how much to say on this one given it basically is just talking over things we've seen before, but it gets the job done. This page's close-up on Sareena's hair kind of draws attention to some refinement needed for the shading, but that's actually recently happened anyway in the pages we've got sitting, started using a different process that'll show up in Wednesday's Blues page and then make the jump to WaR at the start of the next story.

Speaking of, couple more pages left in this story. It's not all going to be White Noise conversation, something of a bit more substance is coming, don't worry.

The static effect is fine Adam and it's one way of showing a person is using a voice changer in a purely visual medium.

Eheh... Thanks. ^^ That means a lot. Manga Studio makes using that sort of thing sort of awkward.
