Ugh. I feel so brain-dead right now. What page is... Huh. We're at these two already.

Yeah, not sure what all to say up-front, but curious what people were expecting the source of the sorrow-causing rain to be. Doubt you thought it was this. Rather anti-climatic, but like the idea quite a bit. ^^

Designs of these two were rather thought out. I actually like the way me and Martin need to discuss new characters when they show up and usually have to do a stream to draw them and do the designs. Weird thing that I just always look forward to. Even back when we were first starting out was always fun to do.

So, first off - something at least somewhere along this line was probably expected from the cover, though likely not in this direction. Secondly, these two names have been mentioned together before if anyone remembers when exactly... though granted one of them was spelled differently. Was kind of up in the air on how I wanted to spell it, eventually settled on this way without at the time realizing it was done the other way previously. No huge deal though, it's the same name and can probably go fix that in the earlier page sometime later easily enough.

Wow, Misty and Ana sure are accepting of just seeing Leighla's face tattoos all over her face. Guess maybe things like that are more common in the future or in the area given what all goes on, or they've just seen enough weird stuff not to judge. Or there's no mention of the tattoos in the scripts because they were a last-minute addition because in color Leighla looked really distractingly similar to Rin. Could be any of those reasons.

I'm not sure how much to comment on the characters themselves. We get some details here, and I'm sure there's one detail not being commented on everyone can pretty much figure out, but get more into them in the next few pages. Rather obviously this sequence isn't the last we'll be seeing of them, if they were just for this one thing wouldn't have been likely to sink much time into designing them and trying to make them stand out.

I do like the way Ana's reactions through this whole thing came out. I kind of like emphasizing that she is kind of out of her depth in a different way than usual on this one and that a calm talk in a trashy apartment isn't exactly the climax she was expecting.

Oh I get it they're sibling of Sera O'Hara, so she's not the only member of her family who's completely messed up, this is getting really weird.
