Yeah, Revenant!Alex continues to be horrifying. Again, was a big "Shit got real" moment to this Creepy-Pasta fucking with our heroes, so really love how it came out. This whole "Alex is dead, Dorothy is brainwashed" thing is something that, even if Alex knows he's probably lying, is probably hitting that button just right.

Kinda the only thing I feel awkward about is that while I love Alex's look of horror in the first two panels, he's supposed to be leaving the room super tense and angry. Hope I managed to capture that feel.

It's weird how unintentionally funny the first panel is. Alex is naturally horrified by what he's seeing, though Misty and Sareena are just feeling suuuuper awkward and Ana doesn't know what's going on.

That pose Alex is doing in the first two panels? Was really outlined in the script but didn't get what Martin was talking about. He had to call me on Skype and direct me.
"Okay, put your hands in your lap, then hold one hand from behind with the other one."
"Erm... Okay..."
"Now raise them up to your forehead still holding them."
"What li- OH! Wait, like that Dr. Cox pose?"
"Kinda, yeah."

This one was a little awkward to write, kind of just figuring out how to pace it out exactly and what to say when. There was also the matter of having to watch how I used Alex and Dorothy's names in the script - ordinarily in scripts I refer to Alex-in-Dorothy as Dorothy but will make occasional slips since I think of the character as Alex, but given this called for Alex to be onscreen I couldn't really do that in this case. Led to a case where at first I slipped up and had Sareena call Alex Dorothy in the first panel, which doesn't work in this context for a multitude of reasons.

Like getting to really bring together a bunch of previous things that have happened in going this direction with it, from the Blues crossover to the occasional point we've got to over Alex struggling to find time to sleep to Cathy being absent to the Blues crossover. Speaking of, I am definitely wanting to explore issues with Cathy more down the line - it's something we've been nudging at more and more lately but it hasn't really been the time to properly delve into it just yet.

One oddity about this chapter, for kind of being Sareena and Misty's forte and really being their plot, they haven't really gotten the chance to be terribly active in it themselves. Both times the TV has struck back so far it's mostly managed to get into Alex's head more than anything. Granted, they're the ones experienced in this kind of thing so it makes sense that Blasko would be targeting the fresh blood instead. Kind of has the effect of feeling like they're being shunted to the side though. Although Sareena's obviously about to get a bit of focus put on her coming out of this one so there is that.

Do hope you'll enjoy what's coming. And yeah, glad could stick the landing on nailing the tone then, wasn't sure how well it'd register.
