Heh.... What do I say on this one?

I do really like getting to see a bit more understanding on the demon self's perspective. Really like the idea of her thinking of herself as the "real" one with Ana just being herself in "sleep mode."

Honestly, looking forward to this being explained more. It seems like something where inevitably you'd wind up with a story where someone innocuously wrongs Ana and the rest of the group need to stop her from enacting vengence or something.

It can be a little tricky to write demon Ana's dialogue when it comes to referring to her human side, given she doesn't see them as separate but there's still a clear need to differentiate them. I kind of like getting to do it though, I think it tends to come off as measured even in-universe and like she's kind of carefully choosing her words to back up her point.

Likewise I like getting to have Misty do a little arguing back against the idea. Guess this is something she's thought about since the last time Ana brought the subject up in the previous chapter.

Speaking of, one thing I am trying to emphasize a bit is how the demon side is on a level kind of right to be ticked off by all this. Is essentially just following her inner nature and spent her whole life lying low, and now her human self has knowledge of what she's been doing this whole time and likely has some hang-ups on that, plus these people are pretty much openly talking about trying to reign her in or possibly get rid of her, and also suddenly referring to her by a different name without that side of her's input. Pretty understandable to be irritated, regardless of how much danger she poses.

We'll get a little more insight into this Wilma the Wild Woman thing a little later on in the chapter, by the way. We kind of came up with this whole backstory for the character's in-universe creation just due to ideas getting flowing, so worked a little bit of that information into the chapter where it was appropriate. Cutting to elsewhere at the party for the time being though.
