The really awkward part of this page is there's a LOT I really wanna talk about, but not sure how. That Wilma The Wild Woman cartoon and the warlock Vernon Gosden (and his grandson) are all important points that we're setting up, just it'll be a bit on the payoff. Don't feel like I'm spoiling anything here since I doubt anyone can guess what we're doing.

If you're wondering why Sareena looks so presentable to the camera in Panel 1, like in a "This is what this character looks like" sort of way, me and Martin only now realized that she'd probably still need to be wearing the boots from her Supergirl outfit. We weren't sure how that would look, so framed that first picture to be one to give us a good look at the outfit. Weirdly we thought she looked weirder from the lack of a bow than the bright-red boots.

Heh.... I think Ropun's obsession with Green is getting out of hand. She just had buckets of green paint in the garage? That seems... Wait, when she had her Inkling costume did she use that bucket to really load up her super-soaker with green paint? Holy shit, her dad is gonna be PISSED.

If I were to guess the green paint might have actually been for her bedroom, given the walls of it are green while nothing else of what we've seen of the house is.

Anyway, I never really planned so much for this to all come down on the side of Ana being the one to accomplish everything, but once I did kind of come to realize it I decided to roll with it and bring it up in the chapter. It's appropriate from a storytelling perspective too, really, since she's one of the new additions to the team for this go-round compared to previous years, while Alex has been kind of dead weight which has been intentional.

Yeah, this page on the whole is kind of weird, in that there's a lot we'll be calling back to down the line, but for right now most of this is really just some background info to how they managed to find the building. Do hope everyone enjoys though.

So yeah, this is pretty much just the plot we're following from here on in like I said before. Little bit of other ground still to cover but the vast majority of the remainder of the chapter is just what goes down at the TV studio. Be sure to swing by Monday for when they arrive!

Oh, one random note - the reason for the TV news thing about the place being broken into is specifically because of wanting to draw attention to how the guy broke in instead of just walking in when he technically owns the place. That was just a mix-up between the scripting and how Adam drew the page at the time but it wound up a convenient little hook for confirming the theory.

Very interesting, wonder what's going to happen next.
