Heh. Weird thing is that I really love how Erin came out here, and he's first and foremost in most of the shots, but she's easily my least favorite of these four to draw.

Really do enjoy seeing stuff with Christina and like the idea of examining her relationship with O'Hara. It's kinda worth seeing that she still has this kind of weird, creepy hold on her. Having people like Erin, Alex, and her family help, but that kind of connection is hard to work your way out of.

One part of this I like is that in actual cults, if someone breaks away they're kinda willing to cut them loose rather than risk a lawsuit trying to suck them back in. O'Hara has just enough of a sadistic streak that she wants to keep trying to psychologically torment her. It shows that while most cults are interested in money or promoting their agenda, O'Hara is in it for... twisted reasons.

You know, Erin isn't really in much of a place to judge here given she works for Eighth Sin. Though then at least they haven't arranged to have her attacked or anything... and really outside of the fight with Starchild they don't actually seem to have her do much.

I was kind of unsure about this page on a certain level, in that I kind of wondered if Patricia was kind of being too stupid here for O'Hara to tolerate. I decided to roll with it though, since Patricia isn't exactly supposed to be intelligent and regardless O'Hara has reasons to keep her around given the family connection.

Either way on the whole pretty happy with this one. Think all four came out looking good and got some good back and forth with it, and feel like it's some more good establishment for both Erin and Christina's characters seeing them have this conversation. Definitely want to touch in with them again before too long but this is the extent of their role in this chapter - really mostly just here to further the O'Hara thing and give Patricia a little more wiggle room. This is a chapter where we'll be establishing a lot of things about her.

If I'm being honest primary reason for that mention of the nose injury is just that I forgot about it when Christina popped up in the Halloween chapter. Seems pretty in line with her character to just not bother with the mask though.

Either way, next page we'll be back to Alex's leg of the chapter. Kind of the start of really beginning to blur the lines between the WaR and BP stuff so stay tuned.
