Going to work and really don't want to. Christ, I hope I'm not on Customer Service again....

Something of this sort has been in mind for a LONG time, though went through different iterations of it.

I really hate those, "You can't do a fraction of what the villain did back to them or you're just like them!" bits of storytelling. A lot of the time, no, the villain pretty unarguably has something coming their way and really doesn't deserve a whole lot in the way of mercy. In this case Alex isn't going to murder her or anything, but I do definitely think O'Hara has a major ass-kicking coming before Alex hauls her in.

Granted I was a little unsure how to go about framing that, given it's a rather sickly woman Alex previously did serious harm to with just the one punch up against an experienced hero - could easily come off uncomfortable if it was drawn out. Thus I figured going the route of the one hit and then cut away was a good way to go.

So yeah. There are a few pages left in the chapter but as of this page, the O'Hara storyline is over. LONG time coming but I've by and large enjoyed the ride getting here and hopefully readers have too. The rest of the chapter is mostly cleaning up various loose ends since there are a few of those left.

Customer service four days in a row? I feel like my OCD for organizing has become my greatest enemy!

Heh. Yeah, I'm kinda with Martin... To an extent there are people who DO have bad things legitimately coming to them, and I dunno if it's necessarily wrong to make sure they suffer for causing suffering to others. Especially when we've made O'Hara SUCH an irredeemable, horrible monster.

But as Martin said, O'Hara is a sickly, tiny woman who has no chance at all of defending herself. Doing the lineart I genuinely felt really weird drawing her being so frightened and helpless. But at the same time, seeing Alex's lay out how many horrible things she's done.... Yeah, it's kinda satisfying to see this...

Honestly, almost wish I'd gone more brutal. Should've had one of O'Hara's hands be barely visible in the last panel, tryhing to crawl out of the alley as Alex assaulted her.

Hope he breaks her arms. FUCK those tattoos!

Alex is far from perfect and he's certainly no saint or even a boyscout not to mention the fact that karma hits hard.

Maybe a bear bottom spanking would have been better for her.
