Hey, I'm sure this person hasn't been alluded to in some way before now!

Kind of realized just as I was writing this how the Patriot Initiative hadn't actually been shown using their announcement in awhile. Think last time the subject actually came up was Cassidy scolding Paxton over skipping it. Felt like a good time for it then... mostly because it's a HORRIBLE time for it and most of these guys are pretty much supposed to be total idiots.

Adam and I really should sit down and do a listing out of what all summons Marina actually has, come to think of it. Having a set, "She can do these specific things and occasionally small other things if she takes the time to learn them," approach with Sareena actually helps tremendously with how to write her, avoids letting her fall into just magically pulling solutions to everything out of nowhere whenever the plot needs it. Just a bit of a writing tip there I guess.

A gag I had fun with in this is how Marina is kind of out of place in this whole situation. It's fun putting her a little more at a loss after how self-assured she's been up to this point.

I need to be sure next page to get to talking about this new arrival. There's a lot of weird back-and-forth that went into that.

Heheh... Yeah, it's been a while since we've seen Patriot Initiative's weird opening cry, so this was fun to see. I love the frantic-exasperation vibe from Sareena and Misty as they realized they just had their cover blown.

But yeah, since we've settled on Marina hanging out in Blues, should probably figure out what she can and can't summon. See about it.... I dunno, all I got. Hard one to comment on.
