Heheh... Yeah, just more of the meet-up between Alex and Dorothy's extended family, in particular seeing more of Dorothy's freakishly adorable little sister. While this entire sequence rapidly became fun to draw, she immediately stole the show and I've just loved working with her.

That's sort of all I got; one of those transitional pages that's just really hard to comment on.

OH! That one basketball hoop in the background? I originally drew that as an entire basketball COURT by mistake. I was kind of embarrassed but we were going to leave it in until Martin googled how much having one built in your house actually costs. Dorothy's dad can't possibly be THAT rich, so it got downgraded into just a single hoop.

You can kind of see the continued evolution of some of the new stuff we're trying out just within this page - I actually redid the door and the grass just before shading it since I thought they could look a lot better than what they did when I initially colored them. Also went a bit more complex than usual with the sky, but I think the colors kind of wound up a bit too faded to actually be able to see it very clearly, going to need to put more of a contrast into that.

I'm pretty happy with how this one came out on the whole - think has some good back and forth with things and sort of gives a quick feel for the situation here. Think also goes to show how natural Alex is with kids and with blending into a situation in general - even with these people he doesn't know he's pretty much managing to slide right into playing a particular role. Granted he probably had some help with knowing how to approach things while he's here.

I am hoping everyone enjoys this one; it's pretty much just a transition page but it is one I'm quite happy with.
