Yeah, this is a good page for some mood whiplash. Going from somber to cuddly to outraged... Does a good job of illustrating how emotional this chapter's been.

The thing that took the most time was Jodie of course, who continues to just be the cutest thing in the comic for a long time. Just her intense enthusiasm is always infectious and provides a nice contrast for the last two panels. The instructions on the script for the penultimate one is that Alex's mask as Dorothy is just slipping for the split-second no one sees him, and it's a pretty sobering shot.

Yeah, kind of hard to comment on this one, but continuing to enjoy this chapter quite a bit. ^^

Yeah, this is where we're getting into what happened at the end of the last chapter - that'll be several pages of this chapter and is in some ways kind of the emotional high point of it, though it won't be running for the whole rest of it or anything.

In general am pretty happy with this page, this one being why there was the whole bit about the basketball hoop mentioned in the comments on an earlier page. Kind of just thought this would be a cute little moment with Jodie and kind of a good framework for Alex getting more introspective about what's been happening.

Also we can see that since the last chapter the gym's now being drawn with brick walls. It's something I've always found kind of too tedious to do on the regular in the past, but I've recently found ways to make it a lot more feasible so probably something we'll see a lot more of in the future.

Talk about an emotional rollercoaster, very interesting, wonder what's going to happen next.

Heh... Yeah, emotional roller coaster is a good sum-up for this page.

I really like those last two panels. Rayne knows how utterly fucked up this is especially him being a dad himself.

And I love how Rena knows what she has done is very wrong and she is trying desperately not to look at Rayne's face. And Sarabeth is utterly Clueless like all ways.

I think Sarabeth is less clueless and more just stoic and accepting of what she's done. But glad you liked those last panels, they were interesting to put together. ^^
