Yeah, continuing on with Hazel spending Christmas running errands for his boss. Just a good show of how uncomfortable he is doing the man's dirty work and how he's not treated with the ideal respect he probably deserves in the organization.... But he still has friends and comrades ready to spend the holiday with him.

I think these bits in "How we spent Christmas" sort of stories. There's always someone having a boring or uninteresting year.... I dunno, that's how it usually goes for me now, just a day, but I still sort of notice it and get this feeling that I should be doing something more with it. Despite not really having a big extended family that are super into it anymore.

Eh, all I got. Hope you folks enjoy.

How awesome are those washing machines? I re-drew those about four times to get them exactly right and look at how good they came out. I love how when drawing you can geek out at capturing the essence of really regular things and so happy at those washing machines. ^^

Yeah, this is just kind of a simple, little page showing Hazel hanging out with Verbren and this other guy (who we're going with being named Dewayne), previously seen back in Blue Cold.

This scene was largely just kind of reintroducing Hazel into the narrative after he's been out of the picture for a bit and showing off a little more of his personality and the kind of work he's doing; the next chapter will be much more heavily featuring Hazel so that should give much more to talk about.

Still, am pretty happy with how this page turned out and do hope that everybody enjoys it. Think Adam did some pretty good work with the backgrounds here.

Be sure to swing by on Monday for the next leg of the chapter, when we return to the Black Court and see a couple people who are well overdue in turning up.
