Hm. Very suspsicous, wouldn't you say?

While Young has clearly known more than he's been telling over the last few pages, this was the page that really set off alarm bells as he's being remarkably manipulative while also letting us get a bit of insight into Sarabeth's backstory. It's worth wondering about; while Alex and Dorothy are the real victims of what's going on, there's something to looking into Sarabeth's thoughts on the subject and why she felt driven to this. Not that it justifies it, but just food for thought. .... Honestly, there's a decent chance that might come up in the next chapter, will have to ask Martin about it later.

Either way, Young is doing something that it's a lot of fun to see. Also been a while since I did a whole city-scape so that's a thing.

Figures, was watching the clock waiting for this one to go up then when it actually did I got distracted for awhile. That happens to me a loooot.

But yeah, this one was a pretty interesting one to do. Think it kind of gains a lot from the shading, that kind of evening glow going on. Also think it kind of serves to nicely illustrate that we should probably work on streamlining windows some; don't think the super gigantic ones tend to look the best, despite being way quicker to do, but there is definitely a lot of tedium in going more in depth with them. Even just going a bit more detailed than usual here kind of made the whole process a bit of a nightmare to color.

Still, happy with the end results in either case. Next page we'll be turning the focus back to Alex but this felt like a scene we kind of needed first.
