Not much to say on this one, just nicely establishing the how and why that Garrett and Hazel are both threatening, in particular with that revelation about Garrett making future appearances quite intriguing.
It was fun getting to draw a swamp background. Also especially funny since I've moved from swamp country to mountain country. ^^
Yeah, bit of an end-of-chapter wrap-up here. Lot of lingering questions left over after this chapter obviously, but do think we did a pretty solid job of covering a lot of ground in not too huge a span of time in this one. Think this chapter very easily could have spiraled, and without some of the adjustments made to plans along the way it absolutely would have, but still feeling pretty pleased with what all we managed to get through in this one.
Like Adam said, we'll be taking a break and then starting up chapter 30, which he will be writing instead of me. Given that probably won't be a lot of immediate follow through on some of the questions raised in this chapter, but I am very much looking forward to what all he's got in mind and in particular thus far think the first page of the next chapter is going to be a super interesting one to do. Really hoping everyone's going to enjoy this writer swap experiment, it's something we've been wanting to do ever since the comics started.
