Really overdue getting the ball rolling on this one but glad to get it kicked off now and hoping everyone's going to enjoy the ride on this one. After being a bit out of focus the past couple of chapters it feels due to really put the focus back onto Hazel, hoping everyone is going to enjoy what's to come there.
We were actually pretty last minute on naming this chapter back when we wrapped up the previous one. A few different potential names were weighed, some of which might've felt like too big of tipoffs as to where we were going with things, but ultimately we decided this one was a good fit for what all is in store.
Speaking of there was actually another element planned to this cover, but it didn't really end up playing well in execution so left that particular layer turned off. Might talk about it more when we get a little bit into the chapter when it really becomes relevant.
Yeah, I actually feel pretty shitty sitting here typing this after the filler grew out of control. Really did sorta need the break but it was rough trying not to drown there for a bit.
Helps that I'm really happy to be getting to this chapter. Hazel is a really fun villain I've wanted to see more of, and the plans of what's going on with him in this one is something we've been wanting to get to for some time.
Occam will also be getting a lot of screentime for this one. Appropriate since we've been trying to bump him up to more important character status. ^^
