Heheh... Really happy with this page looking back. Line-art has felt wonky up until now; this page feels very complete, like another step up the rung.
Do like to get to see Laura's dad though. Very happy with the "Yeah, I'm awesome" atmosphere he gives off. Kinda like... Hell, I dunno, Errol Flynn as Robin Hood. .... Holy crap, that must be why Laura wears green so much!
Eh, either way, had fun with the page, though the breakfast on the plate for this and the next scene were really tedious to do. Feels weird to draw anyway, but also had to keep it consistent. Happy with how it came out and wasn't that hard, just a tad tedious. Kinda fun, though. Something I don't draw a lot.

Well, that first panel's kind of a bit of a red flag, "This is important!" sort of thing, isn't it? On close examination, one of those people present might look a bit familiar - since the last names are the same, not exactly trying to hide that connection.
I like Laura's dad quite a bit so far. So far I've tended to write him as being kind of casual yet confident, and I like how his and Laura's relationship has been coming out. I think the next page is the only other one we see him in for now, but he'll be popping back up again later on in it.
Reminds me, I was wanting to tweak something a few pages from now. I should probably handle that later... In either case, if you couldn't tell from some of the dialogue setting up stuff for later and Rin's part of the plot plus some things that'll happen later, this chapter's kind of structured similarly to The Days Go By. It'll most likely be a good deal shorter than that, at least.
Oh, and that green border. Remember that one random page centered on Laura in Skeletons in the Closet that had that? Yeah, that was set up for this chapter, we'll be seeing it a lot in this one.
So Patricia is one of the three women in the first panel, either she's wearing a wig or the reason that she was always wearing a hood was to hide the fact that her heads not shaved, it will be interesting to hear how she and O'Hara met.
