Yeah, quite a bit of fun had with this one. Really nothing impressive artwork wise but really love the dialog on it. Shows that the Patriot Initiative were designed to maximize their marketability, which seems like something a super-hero group could legitimately go through in-universe, in the same way certain bands are designed that way.

I especially like the way Paxton is being put down here, since it's an argument you really can't dispute that easily. Also think it's funny that when Paxton was hired, it was probably instigated by DeGroot and Cassidy sitting in a room together, pointing to a picture of Wolverine, and saying "We need someone like this. Crazy, unpredictable badass guy who rebels and whatever."

Is this the first time we've heard Mr. Atlanta's real name? Andrew Albright? 'Cause I think I didn't know it until now. Is nice, the whole "Superheroes have alliterative names" thing is a Trope we really like to play around with. In Blue Blood Heroes, Andy's last name is "Allit" just to draw particular attention to the trope. .... Huh. Both Andrews. Weird.

Also, kinda like how both Marvelous Man and Mr. Atlanta have the alliterative thing going since they're both the most classic-flavor of superheroes in the comics.

Hey, how about spending a full chapter last time building up Paxton as totally nutty and unpredictable then this one having someone talk him down strictly through logic?

Yeah, I kind of wanted to flesh out Paxton a bit here, go a little bit more into what it's like for someone like him, with the kind of quirks and self control issues we've already seen from, having to deal with team politics, and why exactly he might do it. There's a reason he's with this group he obviously isn't a great fit for, of course.

As for the subject of Mr. Atlanta, yeah, his real name didn't come up when we previously got the rundown of all of the generals' names back in the Fast Life so pretty sure this is the first time it's come up. Mr. Atlanta will get his spotlight much like the rest of the team at a point, but not for a bit.

Bares mentioning the next page is the last one of this particular story arc. Not all of these are four pages - the first two just happen to each be, the two after that are both longer as are likely the rest of the stories, I should probably note now.

It's amazing they're able to work together at all, wonder what's going to happen next.
