So yeah, that's Misty's plan - using these guys as bait.
Yeah, in general this has been a chapter where I've been trying to put over how level-headed and plotting Misty can be (and we've not seen all of it yet). Actually kind of goes to show how characters can seem odd in retrospect as you get more of a feel for writing them; Misty's a far cry now from the first time Marina appeared in Black Princess, where while Misty is the one that ultimately brought her down she was also relatively clueless on how to handle her summons and it was mostly a matter of luck. Seems very strange in retrospect but hey, things like this get adjusted over time sometimes.
A funny thing Adam and I had a discussion about with this is that outside of when she was possessed by Franklin, Marina hasn't actually met Ana before, which is how she keeps making these mistakes on who exactly it is she's looking for.
Then there's that thing Ella mentioned. Curious, isn't it?
