First off, since there might be a delay in him commenting - the current situation with Adam is that his power's back on but his Internet's out. Hopefully will be on soon but at the very least we can get back to production in some form on the comics. Probably still be filler for Blues on Saturday but at least the situation isn't as dire as it was and WaR is stable.

So yeah, this felt like an important distinction to bring up, that it's possible that Alex could be MTF despite not feeling dysphoria, since I didn't want this conversation to feel truscummy, while also communicating that no, Alex falls more somewhere along the lines of nonbinary or gender-fluid. This will get examined a little bit more in the next page, along with bringing up the pronoun subject since it's kind of this weird thing hanging over the situation in regards to talking about it from a meta perspective. If you notice I've been trying to avoid using pronouns in referring to Alex for awhile now in comments, pretty much just since it hasn't really felt right to do so until the matter's been properly clarified in the comic proper.

And hey, good to see Everett again! Been a bit on him but the stuff we did with him and Megan was fun and we're looking forward to when we get the chance to revisit them. It casts a pretty big shadow over a lot of the stuff with Ana, Paxton, Daryl, and Sonia so it feels appropriate to call back to it periodically, not something that's very easy to just move past.

Speaking of, I need to bring this up in the comic proper but the idea is Daryl hasn't started to medically transition at this point; he only actually came out while under Everett's control and spent that time on the run, so I highly doubt he's had access to testosterone or anything. I fully intend for it to be something he starts looking into properly, though there are of course a lot of hoops to jump through with this stuff and it can take a long time so I wouldn't really expect to see much time devoted to it with Wright as Rayne's decompressed storytelling since realistically not a lot can really happen with it in the timetable the comic's running on, but in the moment he's just binding his chest. Given the risks involved with that I would imagine he probably generally doesn't wear the binding when hanging around the apartment, but I dunno if we'll ever actually see him without it since I'm not really interested in showing it. Speaking of, if anyone's curious I haven't come up with a dead name for Daryl and don't intend to.

Heh... yeah like Martin said, I've got no internet so typing this on my phone. Because of that these comments are gonna be brief.

Not much to say at least. This and the page after it were drawn back to back on the night before I drove back to Lake Charles. Was just fun since all four characters are breezy and enjoyable to do. Everett especially is a fun bad guy.

He looks happy in that shot with his "uncle" though. I remember wondering about what Everett is like most of the time. He seems like a spoiled monster, but it's been shown his home life was.... unusual. Plus his MO is to use his power to brainwash people into becoming his family, which implies he wants something loving... I dunno, just remember wondering about the kid as I drew him.

Eh. We'll see. Not much else for me to say here, see ya. ^^
